Students in Crisp County High School’s Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy assembled 48 care bags for children in foster care in memory of Sarah Blackwell, a student who passed away in 2020. The project is named Sarah Smiles and it is part of a of a service project known as Do Good December. Students are joined by Ms. Shakira Joyner, County Director (Crisp and Dooly County-Region 8 Georgia Department of Human Services), Mrs. Betty Kelloms-Mathis, Social Services Specialist Supervisor Foster Care Unit (Division of Family & Children Services Georgia Department of Human Services), Mrs. Ashley Purvis, CCHS Media Specialist & Leader Academy Facilitator, and Mrs. Joyce Sanchez, Media Clerk & Co-facilitator.
