Attention Crisp County High School parents, as we prepare to implement our new distraction-free policy eliminating cell phone use next school year, we want to keep you informed on changes at the state level.
This week, the Georgia Legislature gave its final approval for a “bell-to-bell” cell phone ban in high schools.
What does this mean?
It bans all cell phone use on campus for high school students from the morning bell until the dismissal bell, known as a “bell-to-bell” ban.
We want to thank our board of education leaders for their forward-thinking in implementing a K-12 distraction-free learning environment for all Crisp County students before this was required. We will continue to value maximizing our students’ instructional time.
Their leadership and commitment to student success are helping ensure our classrooms remain focused learning environments where every minute counts, and we continue to Create a Better Crisp County Through Education!
