Cougar Baseball will be selling raffle tickets for $20 for an Authentic Tampa Bay Rays Jersey signed by Taylor Walls. Baseball players and Coaches will have tickets for those interested. Drawing for the winner will be September 5th at the 1st parent meeting of the year for the team.

Affordable Internet for Families with Students in the Crisp County School System and Other Qualifying Families The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP https://gta.georgia.gov/news/2023-05-19/georgia-technology-authority-launches-statewide-initiative-increase-affordable?ct=t(acpactnowGA_051923_cities)) is a federal benefit that aims to provide eligible households with a $30/month discount on their home Internet bill. In addition, the benefit provides a one-time $100 discount toward a connected device through a participating provider. We are committed to closing the broadband affordability gap so that every resident has equal access to the digital age opportunities. A household is eligible if one member of the household meets at least one of the criteria below: ● Has an income that is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines (https://aspe.hhs.gov/poverty-guidelines) ● Participates in certain assistance programs, such as SNAP, Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, SSI, WIC, or Lifeline ● Is approved to receive benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch program or the school breakfast program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) ● Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year ● Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating broadband provider’s existing low-income program ● Participates in one of several Tribal specific programs, such as Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Tribal Head Start (only households meeting the relevant income qualifying standard), Tribal TANF, or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations. Graduation information—- Please be aware! No posters, balloons or artificial noise makers will be allowed in the stadium at graduation. We want everyone to be able to see and hear our ceremony honoring our grads.

Crisp County High School will hold its annual Title I Input Meeting on Wednesday, May 3rd, at 12 p.m. This meeting gives our parents the opportunity to provide input on the Parent/School Compact, the Family Engagement Policy, and other topics/items related to Title I.

YEARBOOKS! Students can pre-purchase this year's yearbook. The current price is $60.00 (until May 5), and students can bring a check or cash to me in room 114. After May 5, the cost for the yearbook goes up to $75.00. Checks should be made payable to CCHS Journalism, and if paying with cash, the exact amount is needed. Keegan Tucker created this year's cover art, and it is awesome!
