***Baseball Update***
With the forecast on Monday and the shortage of umpires available, Monday's Season Opener vs Fitzgerald is moved to Tuesday. We will play a JV/Varsity Double header at home beginning with the young guys at 4:30. Varsity will play 25 minutes after.
This will take the place of the JV DH at Fitzgerald planned on that day as well. Hope to see you all at the ballpark!!!!

After School tutoring will start again on Tuesday, January 16th. We will not have after school transportation until January 16th. Saturday School will resume on Saturday, January 6th.
Tonight our school will be showcasing talent in both visual art and vocal. Come out and see our art showcase tonight at 6PM, followed by our CCHS Vibes choral concert at 7PM. Tickets for the choral concert will be $2 each. See you there!

South Georgia Technical College will be hosting Light Up Your Future event on their campus. It will be on December 5 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Potential students who are interested can learn about the campus' programs through lighted displays. There will be plenty of gifts and goodies for the entire family!
The Crisp County High School will have their delicious FFA PORK CHOP PLATES available for $8.00/plate on Friday- December 1, 2023. Plates will include a 3/4" smoked pork chop, green beans, 1 slice of bread, 2 chocolate chip cookies, and a bag of Lay's cheddar cheese chips.. If you wish to purchase some just in time for the weekend, email edixon@crispschools.org. Thank you for your support! They will be available between 12-6 pm on December 1st.
Please be aware that the FAFSA for next year is not available yet. It will be available in December. The current FAFSA application available for 2023-2024 on the FAFSA.GOV website will expire at the end of the summer of 2024.

We will have a FAFSA/Financial Aid presentation for seniors during Wednesday's advisement on November 29th in the cafeteria. Katie Minich from the Georgia Student Finance Commission will be sharing valuable information about how to pay for college.
Seniors, please do not miss this important meeting!
In the meantime, remember that November is Apply to College Month. Please use your time during advisement to complete your college applications. Many colleges are waiving fees during the month of November.
The ASVAB will be offered November 9th at CCHS. The test will start at 8:30.
The ASVAB is free and taking it does not obligate you to go into the military. The ASVAB identifies student skills and abilities and will link your interests to potential careers. Seats for the test are limited and will be filled in the order that students sign up. If you are interested, please use the google link below to sign up.
