This past Saturday, over 60 members of the CCHS Band program auditioned for membership in the GMEA District 2 Honor Band and we are pleased to announce that 47 of our musicians earned membership in the band this year. The honor band is composed of students from schools from several of our surrounding counties and is highly competitive. In addition to having 47 students earned a spot in the District Honor bands, 16 of them will go on to audition for membership in the South Georgia Region Honor Band and 4 more will audition for the Georgia All-State Band as well. We are extremely proud of our students and ask that you congratulate them when you get a chance. Here is the list of students:
